BBO Archive and Data Retention

BBO retains the scoring and hand play for competitive and casual sessions.  You may also cross reference the hand you played versus other people playing the same hand in the competitive and 50 recently played hands area for competitive sessions or the 50 recently played hands area for casual sessions.  You can view a 7 minute 19 second video on YouTube by clicking on or copying this link to your browser:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7soYDstnqc

To find other hands you played on BBO you need to go to a different area where this information is archived. If you want to see how you and other people played the same hand this is an excellent source of information. On your web browser go to https://www.bridgebase.com/

You need to see this screen:

Click on Hand Records located on the top middle of the screen.

You will see this screen:

You may have to supply your log on ID and password.  Choose a start date and hit the Get Hands button. You will see this screen.

This screen shows the hands you played on that day.  The Points are what you did or did not get for playing the hand.  The score is complicated and not easily explained and will not be discussed here.  You are interested in the Movie and Traveller hyperlinks.

The Movie hyperlink brings you to the hand.
Click on the Options button and choose "Advance Card by Card".
You can then scroll through each card played.

The Traveller link shows the different people who played the same hand you did and their results.

You can click on any hand and see how other people played the same hand.
Traveller shows between 15 and 16 hands.

Make sure you log off of BBO after reviewing the hands you want to see.
